B27 UNITY GAIN BASE STATION 27-30 MHz Omni Directional FREQUENCY MUST BE SPECIFIED. MARINE AND CITIZEN BANDS. The B27 is a unity gain ground independent dipole. This antenna was designed to provide a commercial grade high quality product to suit the 27 - 30 mhz band. It is highly regarded for use as a base station in areas subject to severe salt water corrosion. It has a number of distinct advantages, it is factory built and tuned to frequency, ground independent, lightweight, exhibits low wind loading and is supplied in 2 pieces for transportation. The construction is of coaxial cable encased in a marine grade fibreglass radome which is then filled with 2 part pouring foam, the mounting pole is powder coated aluminium, these features combine to make the B27 both efficient and durable.
