The BBS was introduced to our product range in 1992 to fill
the requirement for a budget priced unity gain base station
antenna.

This antenna provides a vertically polarized omnidirectional
pattern, the radiation features being essentially the same as
a 1/2 wave coaxial dipole.

A high impedance tuned choke prevents the feed cable
distorting the radiation pattern.

A number of benefits are offered with this model, it is
ground independent, factory tuned, encased in a marine
grade fibreglass radome and completed with a powder
coated mounting pole, it is available with either an “N”
female connector or a specified length of Mil RG58 cable
and connector.

Of lightweight construction and exhibiting low wind
loading, installation is simplified, it is suitable for all types
of supports.
