This commercial quality antenna is a lightweight colinear which will provide 3 dB gain of omni directional pattern.

It is a compact lightweight model which will exhibit a very low wind loading, it is suitable for mounting on smaller masts, brackets or J poles and environments which may be subjected to harsh conditions or icing.

The radome outer casing is manufactured from marine grade fibreglass and the mounting pole is 25 mm O.D. gold powder coated aluminium, Internally all components are of Mil specifications including the "N" type female connector for termination.

At the tuned frequency the VSWR will be 1.1:1 but the antenna can offer 5 MHz bandwidth over the VSWR points 1.5:1

The model BU3 antenna is built and factory tuned to the nominated frequency prior to dispatch.
