HEAVY DUTY DIPOLE MOBILE OR BASE STATION.

The MD70 was produced to provide a versatile antenna suitable as a heavy duty mobile or a budget priced base station.

It includes a number of benefits to users who may subject the antenna to severe abuse, it has gained a reputation for providing both strength and performance and is used extensively in both the mining and construction industries.

The antenna is assembled from a solid section of fibreglass and then filled with pouring foam to complete an extremely strong package.

This model will provide a vertically polarized omnidirectional pattern, the radiation features being essentially the same as a 1/2 wave dipole. A high impedance tuned choke prevents the feed cable distorting the radiation pattern making the MD70 ideal for both mobile and base station application.

To simplify installation, the antenna is ground independent, can be supplied with our HDS heavy duty spring for mobile or a stud for base mounting, it has a UHF female connector for termination and can be delivered factory pre tuned or on site with the tuning spike.
